The Big Laguna trail is a series of interconnected loops that are part of the Cleveland National Forest. I can’t remember exactly when we found the particular loop we’ve been hiking, but it’s been one we’ve been doing regularly for a few years. We usually arrive at midday and finish at sunset. For the most part, it’s a very empty, quiet, place. I keep thinking I want to do a portrait shoot here, but being that it is remote and takes a couple of hours to get to the more picturesque parts, I haven’t made the attempt yet.
